Amid Duterte’s Continued ICC Detention, Harry Roque Claims Arrest Warrant vs. Bato dela Rosa Allegedly Released
HARRY ROQUE – Duterte’s former Spokesman warned Senator Bato dela Rosa that his warrant of arrest from the International Criminal Court (ICC) is allegedly out.
Amid the questions, Ombudsman Boying Remulla claimed that he allegedly has a “copy” of the reported ICC arrest warrant against Sen. Bato dela Rosa. His statement was to back his claim after neither the ICC nor the Department of Justice (DOJ) confirmed his claim that the foreign court has allegedly issued an arrest warrant against the Senator.

Dela Rosa was the first chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) during the term of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. In the ICC case against the former President, a certain “Dela Rosa” described as chief PNP was mentioned.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa has always claimed that he is allegedly the next person that the ICC wants to arrest and investigate after former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. On the claim of Ombudsman Boying Remulla that the foreign court has allegedly issued an arrest warrant against him, his camp claimed that they hope the Philippine government will uphold the rule of law in case an arrest warrant has really been out.
Sen. Bato dela Rosa was no show during Senate sessions amid the reported ICC arrest warrant against him. According to his lawyer, Atty. Israelito Torreon, the Senator is allegedly not hiding but may make himself available after the Philippine government will clarify its course of actions.

Recently, on social media, Duterte’s former spokesman Harry Roque posted a message for Sen. Bato dela Rosa amid an alleged ICC arrest warrant against him. Roque is an asylum seeker in The Netherlands amid a pending arrest warrant issued by a Philippine court over his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country.
Harry Roque claimed that he allegedly cannot be deported while his process for an application for asylum is ongoing. The Philippine government previously confirmed its efforts to bring Duterte’s former Spokesman back to the country to answer to the allegations against him.

Through a post on social media, Harry Roque claimed that the arrest warrant against Sen. Bato dela Rosa is allegedly out. He called on Dela Rosa not to allow to be brought to The Hague like former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte without being brought to a Philippine court first.
