Duterte’s Former Spokesman Harry Roque Slams Pres. Bongbong Marcos Anew
Harry Roque claimed that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos is allegedly the “real issue” over his supposed corruption and illegal drug use.
Even Pres. Bongbong Marcos himself was tagged in the supposed massive corruption in the Philippine government. Former House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman Zaldy Co claimed that Marcos Jr. and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez allegedly inserted P100 billion in the 2025 national budget.
Aside from the budget insertion accusation, Co also claimed that the President and the House Speaker supposedly received a P56 billion kickback all for themselves. According to him, these are just some of the supposed corruption of the President and his cousin and he also posted about the alleged deliveries of millions of money.
Following the accusations of Zaldy Co, presidential sister and Senator Imee Marcos accused Pres. Bongbong Marcos of allegedly using illegal drugs. In his speech during the rally of the members of Iglesia ni Cristo, the presidential sister called on Marcos Jr. to go home and undergo treatment.
Amid the many accusations against Pres. Bongbong Marcos, Harry Roque previously called on Marcos Jr. to give the presidency to someone with the right mindset. He has called for the resignation of the Chief Executive multiple times. He even asked Marcos Jr. to give the presidency to Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
Recently, through a post on social media, Harry Roque slammed Pres. Bongbong Marcos anew. According to him, the real issue is his alleged corruption and illegal drug use.
“Ang tunay na isyu: Bangag ka Marcos Jr. Kurap ka Marcos Jr.,” Roque stated in his post.
Harry Roque is in The Hague, Netherlands for several months now. The former spokesman of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is applying for asylum abroad amid the pending arrest warrant against him in the country. He fled and hid amid the investigation of his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations in the country.
