Typhoon Tino ripped off large trees and brought countless residents of Negros on their roofs due to the massive flooding.

Countless Filipino families were left homeless by severe tropical storm Tino that brought heavy rains and strong winds in several areas in the Philippines. Cebu is so far the province that is most severely-hit by the storm. It triggered flooding that covered the first floors of several houses prompting the residents to climb off their roof or get to the second floor of their homes. The strong winds also destroyed several homes.

Crocolandia, a crocodile and wildlife park in Cebu, was also affected by the flooding that it even triggered concerns among the residents about the possible animal escape. After leaving Cebu severely-damaged, the severe tropical storm crossed the province of Negros.

Typhoon Tino also brought massive rains that caused flooding in Negros. Countless homes were also wrecked by the strong winds that also ripped off several decade-long trees that have provided shed for many years already.

Many commuters had to be rescued as the floodwater rose in several areas in the province as they were in the middle of traveling. There were also areas wherein the residents had to climb to the roof of their houses for safety.

The severe tropical storm is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility either on Wednesday evening or Thursday morning. Amid the onslaught of Typhoon Tino, a huge snake caught the attention and sparked concern among the residents of Cebu.
