After Intense Online Hate, Shuvee Etrata Returns Louder, Braver, & Unbothered
SHUVEE ETRATA – Actress and model Shuvee Etrata is proving that no amount of online hate can dim her rising star as she continues to confront bashers with confidence and strength.
Despite the noise from bashers and online detractors, Kapuso TV host-actress Shuvee Etrata continues to stand strong and resilient. The former “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition” housemate has faced intense criticism from netizens, primarily due to her outspoken support and defense of former President Rodrigo Duterte.
Yet, even with the challenges she encountered, Shuvee remains optimistic about life. She draws strength from the overwhelming support she receives on social media, where many continue to defend her from negativity. Her steady mindset has helped her move forward with confidence despite the harsh comments thrown her way.

Recently, the Kapuso actress shared a joyful update with her followers—her vacation trip to Japan with her family. According to Shuvee, the getaway served as an important mental health break after enduring waves of online bullying and bashing. “Kasama ko ‘yung tita ko doon parang as my way of giving back to them kasi they’re the first people talaga who believed in me,” she said in an interview with “24 Oras.”
Shuvee also expressed heartfelt gratitude to her loyal fans and supporters who showed up at her fan meet held in Quezon City. The gathering brought her a sense of comfort and joy during a time when she needed encouragement the most. “Thank you for your effort, time, and love. Sa lahat ng hirap sa mga panahong tahimik, sa panahong sobrang saya. There were times na gusto ko na sumuko or I doubted myself,” the actress shared.
Following this emotional message, she added a bold remark that quickly resonated with her followers: “Bakit ako susuko ang ingay n’yo.”

Her parents, Michael and Jorena Etrata, were also present at the fan meet, beaming with pride over their daughter’s achievements. “Nakikita ko naman na nag-e-enjoy siya. Sinasabi ko sa kanya na ‘Anak alagaan mo lang ‘yung sarili mo ‘tsaka mahalin niya lang ‘yung trabaho niya,’” said Mrs. Jorena.
Despite controversies, blessings continue to pour into Shuvee’s career. She credits many of her opportunities to “PBB Celebrity Collab Edition,” which helped open doors for her. Among her upcoming projects is the horror film “Huwag Kang Titingin,” featuring an impressive ensemble cast including Sofia Pablo, Allen Ansay, Marco Masa, Michael Sager, Sean Lucas, Josh Ford, Kira Balinger, Charlie Fleming, and her persistent suitor, Anthony Constantino.
