Palace Speaks on Reaction of Marcos Jr. to Allegations of Sen. Imee Marcos
MARCOS JR. – Malacañang spoke on the reaction of the President to the illegal drug use accusation of his sister, Senator Imee Marcos, against him.
Sen. Imee Marcos accused PBBM of alleged use of illegal drugs in front of thousands of members of the Iglesia ni Cristo who joined the recent rally. The presidential Sister did not explicitly called for the resignation of her brother but asked him to go home and undergo treatment.

According to Sen. Marcos, their family allegedly knows the problem about her brother. She claimed that PBBM allegedly got even more engaged in illegal drug use after his vice presidential loss in 2016. He had so much time since then as he was not in the public service.

The Senator also claimed that First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos is allegedly using illegal drugs as well. She challenged PBBM and the First Family to undergo a drug test to disprove the allegations. The President has yet to personally speak on the accusations of his sister against her.
Recently, Malacañang spoke on the reaction of Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. over the illegal drug use accusation of Sen. Imee Marcos against him. Based on a report on GMA News, the Palace stressed that the President is disappointed over the statements of his sister.

“Dismayado po ang Pangulo. Dismayado na umabot sa ganitong kasinungalingan ang ginawa ng kaniyang kapatid,” Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro said.
Sen. Imee Marcos claimed that Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos allegedly wants to claim that she is not a true sibling of his father, Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.. According to the Senator, she will undergo a DNA testing as long as the First Family will undergo drug testing.
“Kung gusto niya magpa-DNA, go ahead. Pero hindi po pakikinggan kung anumang hamon ang gusto ni Senator Imee Marcos,” the Palace official said.
Atty. Claire Castro said that it has long been proven that Marcos Jr. tested negative in the drug test. Based on the report, the Palace official claimed that the call for a drug testing for the First Family is allegedly an effort to destroy the image of the First Family.
The Palace previously slammed Sen. Imee Marcos over her alleged silence on the confidential funds issue against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. Malacañang believes that the Senator’s move is allegedly for the sake of her allies in politics. She has aligned herself with the Dutertes amid the political turmoil in the government.
