DANIEL PADILLA – Robin Padilla has finally revealed the next star he believes is worthy of inheriting the legendary Bad Boy title, and it’s none other than Daniel Padilla.
Filipino audiences will soon witness the much-awaited comeback movie of Sen. Robin Padilla as “Bad Boy 3” from Viva Films is finally set for release. The iconic action star, long hailed as the Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema, happily and excitedly announced that part three of his phenomenal hit “Bad Boy” is officially pushing through.
Sen. Robin recently met with BANDERA and select entertainment media members during the signing of his new contract with Viva Films, alongside Boss Vic del Rosario and his son, Vincent del Rosario. The agreement includes five major projects, which will be released not only in cinemas but also across various platforms such as streaming services and free TV.

Among these is “Bad Boy 3,” which will soon be available on Netflix. Several of Robin’s previous films will also be accessible on the platform, including “Bonifacio, Ang Unang Pangulo,” “Sa Ngalan ng Ama,” “Ina at Anak,” “10,000 Hours,” “Turn: My Pledge of Love,” and “Alab ng Lahi.”
According to his manager, Betchay Vidanes, “Bad Boy 4” is already on the drawing board, and this time, Robin will finally share the screen with his nephew, Daniel Padilla. Yes, the senator confirmed that Daniel is the one he wants to inherit the coveted title of “The Bad Boy of Philippine Cinema,” noting the young actor’s impressive performance as the “Action Prince” in ABS-CBN’s hit project “Incognito.”
“Kay Daniel ko siyempre gusto pamana. Noong panahon sinasabi ko, in love pa siya, eh. Pag ibig pa priority. Gumawa siya Incognito, may chance na ngayon,” Robin shared.
He emphasized that Daniel naturally embodies the aura of a true “Bad Boy.” “Natural angas sa kanya. Dapat natural, eh. Kapag inutos lang kasi ng direktor, medyo may kalungkutan yun,” he said.

Robin Padilla also recalled how the title was passed down to him after Ace Vergel. The original “Bad Boy” was Jose Padilla Jr., followed by former President Joseph Estrada, who then passed it on to Ace Vergel before it eventually reached Robin.
“Hindi ko makakalimutan yun… Sige ikaw na bad boy!” Robin recounted, sharing the unforgettable moment Ace confronted him at Viva’s gate.
“Gusto ko kapag dumating yung panahon, kung sino maging Bad Boy, may eksena na ipapasa ko. Ganu’n yun, di ba?” he added, expressing his hope to continue the legacy with Daniel.
