Malacañang Speaks on Drug Test Challenge to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, First Family by Sen. Imee Marcos
BONGBONG MARCOS – The Palace claimed that the President is “clean” and will not take the hair follicle drug test challenge of his sister, Senator Imee Marcos.
Presidential sister and Sen. Imee Marcos bluntly accused Pres. Bongbong Marcos of alleged illegal drug use before the thousands of members of the Iglesia ni Cristo who joined the rally. According to the Senator, their family is allegedly aware about the supposed problem with the President which has allegedly long-engaged in vices.

Sen. Imee Marcos claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos was still not her responsibility then when their father, the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr., was still around. She also claimed that PBBM allegedly got even more hooked in the use of illegal drugs after his vice presidential loss in 2022 when he had more time.

Amid her accusations, Sen. Imee Marcos challenged Pres. Bongbong Marcos and the First Family to prove that they are not into illegal drug use. The presidential Sister made the same accusation against the First Lady. Recently, the Palace spoke on the side of the Chief Executive over the matter.
Based on a report on Inquirer, Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos will not take the challenge of Sen. Imee Marcos to undergo a hair follicle drug test. The Palace official stressed that the Chief Executive is allegedly “clean”.

“I will repeat it, over and over—the president is clean, and the president will not give in to any kind of provocation,” Castro said.
Based on the report, the Malacañang press official also stressed that the accusation was allegedly disproved already long ago. She previously claimed that Marcos Jr. tested negative in the drug test prior to his presidential run in 2022.
“Again and again, we will keep repeating it — we will not be swayed by what the loud voices are saying. This has long been resolved,” the Palace official said.
Amid the issues, Senate President Pro Tempore Ping Lacson recently claimed that some people in Malacañang allegedly used the name of Marcos Jr. for corruption.
