Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Lauds Cavite Rep. Kiko Barzaga
HARRY ROQUE – The former Spokesman of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte expressed his praises for Cavite Congressman Kiko Barzaga.
Recently, a young member of the House of Representatives hooked the spotlight for being vocal against the Marcos Jr. administration. He is Cavite 4th District Representative Kiko Barzaga who recently led an anti-Marcos protest outside Forbes Park Village in Makati City. He led the protesters in calling for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos.
Prior to the said protest action, Barzaga also disclosed a document which was allegedly an impeachment complaint that he will file against Pres. Bongbong Marcos. He accused the Chief Executive of alleged betrayal of public trust amid the flood control mess in the Philippines.
Recently, another known political persona who also calls for the resignation of Pres. Bongbong Marcos expressed admirations towards Cavite Cong. Kiko Barzaga. On a post on social media, Duterte’s former spokesman Harry Roque lauded the 27-year-old House solon.
According to Harry Roque, he admires Cavite Cong. Kiko Barzaga a lot. According to him, Barzaga or also known as Cong. Meow Meow is allegedly a proof that the Filipino people are not losing hope towards the youth and believes that the future still depends on the brave and patriotic youngsters who love the country.
“Matindi po talaga ang paghanga ko kay Cong. Meow Meow. Siya po talaga ay patunay na hindi tayo nawawalan ng pag-asa sa ating kabataan na ang ating kinabukasan nakasalalay pa rin sa mga matapang, magiting, patriyotikong nagmamahal sa Inang Bayan, ng mga kabataan, na gaya ni Cong. Meow Meow,” Duterte’s former Spokesman said.
Harry Roque admitted that he personally does not know Cong. Kiko Barzaga but he and his mother have worked together in the Congress. Based on the post, he really salutes the young lawmaker as well as his courage and his alleged deep understanding of the supposed root of the problem.
“Talagang saludo po ako sa kanya, sa kanyang katapangan at sa kanyang matinding pagkakaintindi sa ugat ng problema sa Pilipinas at ‘yan nga po ay korapsyon dahil ang namumuno sa ating bayan ay korap, si Marcos Jr., dahilan kung bakit lahat ng mga opisyales sa ilalim niya kasama na si House Speaker at si Zaldy Co ay korap,” he expressed.
Prior to the post wherein he expressed his admiration for Barzaga, Harry Roque has also expressed a call for Pres. Bongbong Marcos to voluntarily resign from the presidency. He claimed that the Filipino people allegedly knows that the President supposedly does not know his job. He also called on the Filipinos to join the “People Power” if Marcos Jr. will not voluntarily step down from the position.
