Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Gives Message for Pres. Marcos Jr.
HARRY ROQUE – The former presidential Spokesperson called on President Bongbong Marcos to voluntarily resign from his position.
While Roque previously took swipe at Senator Imee Marcos for allegedly still not calling for Marcos Jr.’s resignation, Duterte’s former Spokesman recently reiterated his call on the President. He even urged the Filipinos to unite in calling for the Chief Executive’s resignation.
Harry Roque believes that “People Power” is allegedly the solution to the corruption problem in the Philippine government. Amid the recent anti-Marcos rallies that called for the resignation of the President, the former Spokesman who is currently in The Hague called on all Filipinos to join the street protests for the sake of the future of the country.
According to Roque, nothing will allegedly happen to the Philippines if corruption will continue. He stressed that corrupt officials in Malacañang, the Congress, and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) should be driven out.
Harry Roque also gave a message for Pres. Bongbong Marcos. Based on a post on his social media account, Duterte’s former Spokesman tells the President that the Filipino people allegedly wants their family out again.
Roque also claimed that Marcos Jr. is allegedly thick-faced to supposedly continue asserting himself. According to him, the President should resign from his post if he wants even just little mercy to his family.
“Marcos Jr. ikaw makinig ka. Sinuka na kayo nung minsan ng taong-bayan, sinusuka na naman kayo ngayon. Ano ba naman ‘yang napaka-kapal mo pinagpipilitan mo pa ang sarili mo diyan…. Kung gusto mo na magkaroon pa ng kahit anong awa ang taumbayan sa inyong pamilya, bumaba ka ng mapayapa diyan,” Duterte’s former Spokesman said.
Based on the post, Harry Roque further claimed that the supposed best thing that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is to step down from his position. According to him, the Filipino people knows that the Chief Executive is allegedly not in the right state of mind.
‘Yan ang pinakamaganda mong gawin dahil talagang alam namin hindi mo naman kaya mamuno na. Alam naming wala ka sa tamang pag-iisip. Sino ba ang nasa tamang pag-iisip na nakikipag-usap sa patay niyang diktador na ama?” Roque said.
Based on the post, Duterte’s former Spokesman also said that the Filipinos might be able to forgive Marcos Jr. if he will voluntarily leave his post. According to him, the alleged decision is to dismiss the President if he refuses to step down from his post voluntarily.
Harry Roque also previously called for the immediate ouster of Marcos Jr. The former presidential spokesman of the previous administration is faced with an arrest warant issued by a local court in the Philippines. According to him, he will return to the country on the first day after the presidential term of Marcos Jr. ends.
