“I Love Who I Love” — Janella Salvador Breaks Silence on Rumors and Romance
JANELLA SALVADOR – Kapamilya actress Janella Salvador opened up about the current state of her heart, proudly declaring, “Masaya ang puso ko ngayon.”
Janella Salvador recently gave fans a glimpse into her personal life as she candidly talked about the current state of her heart. The actress revealed that she is in a happy place, though she chose not to confirm if someone special is behind her smile.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the Open Endings lead actress shared her sentiments about love. “Masaya ang puso ko ngayon. Genuinely, I’m happy right now–– all aspects of my life, I’m doing okay. Happy ako,” she expressed.
While she did not disclose any romantic involvement, Janella emphasized the qualities she is now seeking in a partner. The actress, who is a mother to her son Jude, said she prioritizes stability above all. “I think now, I’m really looking for stability. Especially now that I don’t have only myself to think of but also my son. So if I enter any relationship, non-negotiable yun–– kailangan sigurado ako, kailangan stable na siya, kailangan maayos,” she explained.
Janella has also been addressing speculations linking her to fellow actress Klea Pineda. She clarified that she had no part in Klea’s split with her then-girlfriend, Katrice Kierulf. She explained that the rumors possibly began because of her project with Klea. “Paano nga ba nag simula? I guess cause mag katrabaho kami sa Open Endings kaya nag ka rumors ng ganun. They broke up right after the film so I guess that’s where all the rumors started. They saw that we were hanging out after the film–– we’ve been hanging out,” she said.
When asked if she was open to a relationship with the same gender, Janella kept her answer private but acknowledged her openness to love. “Would I? I guess that answer would have to stay with me muna. But, I love who I love,” she responded.
Beyond her personal life, Janella is keeping her schedule full. She will headline the Cinemalaya entry Open Endings premiering on October 3 and will also appear in the upcoming thriller series What Lies Beneath with Kaila Estrada, Sue Ramirez, and Charlie Dizon.
