Pres. Bongbong Marcos Turns 68, First Lady Liza Marcos Writes Heartfelt Message for Husband
First Lady Liza Marcos penned a sweet message for her husband, President Bongbong Marcos, on his 68th birthday today.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos, after touting that the Philippine economy is doing great and the global view on the country and the Filipinos is high, was asked during a podcast interview about his birthday wish. According to the President, it is his wish that his administration hits all their targets before his presidential term ends in 2028.
Furthermore, Marcos Jr. also said it is his wish that there will be no more hungry Filipinos. Today, the President turns 68 years old — just a few days since his late father, the late former Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Sr., was celebrated in honor of his 108th birthday. Marcos Sr. and Marcos Jr. share the same birth month.
A day ahead of the birthday of Pres. Bongbong Marcos, a Salo-Salo sa Palasyo was held at the Malacañang Palace. The gates of Malacañang were opened to the public and a lot of Filipinos from different areas joined the celebration.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos entered the Malacañang Palace driving a golf cart with First Lady Liza Marcos and their youngest son, William Vincent Marcos. Their eldest son, Ilocos Norte Congressman Sandro Marcos, was also present at the celebration of his father’s birthday.
Today, as Pres. Bongbong Marcos turns 68, First Lady Liza Marcos penned a heartfelt birthday message for her husband. In a Facebook post, the First Lady called the President her “partner in everything”.
First Lady Liza Marcos also expressed her gratitude for their adventures and the moments they shared. In her post, she also expressed her immense love for her husband.
“Happy birthday to my partner in everything. So grateful for every laugh, every adventure and every moment we share. Love you to the moon and back!!” the First Lady said.
Aside from Ilocos Norte Cong. Sandro Marcos and William Vincent Marcos, Pres. Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Marcos also have another son, their middle child, Simon Joseph Marcos. Last April 17, 2025, the President and the First Lady celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.
Amid the problems in the Philippines now, Pres. Bongbong Marcos was asked during a podcast interview if he has regrets being president of the country.
