Pres. Bongbong Marcos Speaks on Birthday Wish, Philippine Economy during Podcast Interview
BONGBONG MARCOS – The Philippine President has good words for the Philippine economy and the global view towards Filipinos.
Despite Marcos Jr. getting ‘teary-eyed’ during a podcast interview citing the struggles of the Filipinos amid the flood control corruption issue in the country, the President is visibly proud and happy of the standing of the Philippine economy now. It was one of the things he mentioned in the latest part of his podcast interview.

Kapuso news anchor Vicky Morales had a one-on-one interview with Pres. Bongbong Marcos for the BBM Podcast. In the latest part of the Episode 4 of the said podcast, the President spoke about the Philippine economy as well as the global view towards the country and the Filipinos.

According to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, the Philippine economy is doing well now. He also touted that other countries are thinking high about the Philippines and the Filipino people.
“Maganda ang takbo ng ekonomiya, maganda ang – mataas ang tingin sa atin ng ating mga – ng ating mga kaibigan sa buong mundo, mataas ang tingin sa Pilipinas at lalo pang mas mataas ang tingin sa Pilipino,” the Chief Executive told Vicky during the podcast interview.

Furthermore, Marcos Jr. also claimed that wherever he goes, the foreigners immediately say that the Filipinos there are really excellent. During the podcast interview, the Chief Executive said that national leaders of other countries even hope that more Filipinos will go in their place and help them.
“Alam mo lahat, kahit saan ako pumunta, lahat, unang-una sasabihin: Ang gagaling ng mga Pilipino doon sa amin. Ang mga hari, mga presidente, mga prime minister, lagi: Sana magpadala pa kayo. Magpadala pa kayo ng Pilipino para tutulong sa amin,” the President said.
During the podcast interview, Pres. Bongbong Marcos was also asked about his birthday wish. The Chief Executive is turning 68 this coming September 13. According to him, he just wants to hit all the targets of his administration before his term ends.

Meanwhile, Marcos Jr. acknowledged that six (6) years may not be enough to finish all the goals of his administration so he wants, at least, to be able to start all their plans so the next admin can choose to continue it. Previously, Pres. Bongbong Marcos was also asked if he has regrets being president of the country.
