SARA DUTERTE – The Office of the Vice President is not asking for Confidential and Intel Funds for 2026 based on the proposed budget.
The Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has officially turned over the P6.793-trillion National Expenditure Program (NEP) for 2026 to the House of Representatives. Following it, Pres. Bongbong Marcos called on the Congress to “swiftly enact” the proposed budget citing that PH is poised to be leader among nations. He stressed that the country is on the track about its “Agenda for Prosperity”.

Marcos Jr. also called on the Congress to work together with the executive department for the fulfillment of the Bagong Pilipinas and the nurturing of generations that are ready for the future. Furthermore, the Chief Executive also unveiled the proposed budget for the different key departments in the country.

During his 4th State of the Nation Address, Pres. Bongbong Marcos assured the public that education remains on top of the priorities of the government. Amid the ongoing issues of alleged misused confidential funds, based on the report, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte’s office is not asking for CIF for 2026. The Office of the Vice President (OVP) is seeking for a P903-million budget for next year.
