Manny Pacquiao Plots December Boxing Match
MANNY PACQUIAO – Boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has hinted at a possible December return to the ring, just weeks after his headline-grabbing fight in Las Vegas.
Manny Pacquiao has returned to the Philippines after his highly publicized bout against Mario Barrios in Las Vegas, followed by a romantic post-fight getaway to Italy with his wife, Jinkee.
“Masaya, very exciting vacation,” the boxing legend shared, describing their trip to stunning locations such as Amalfi and Positano. For Pacquiao, one of the highlights was the simple pleasure of walking through uphill roads and soaking in the scenic views.

Reflecting on his recent fight, Manny Pacquiao expressed satisfaction with his performance, considering he only had two months to prepare after a four-year hiatus from the ring. He noted that his recovery was swift, regaining his energy just days after the grueling 12-round match.
“After the fight, three or four days later, nag-jogging na ako ulit,” he revealed, crediting his disciplined training routine. “Focus lang talaga. No distractions. Even Sundays, I’d go to church, then rest for the next day’s training.”
While ideally he would have trained for three months — especially at his current age — Pacquiao was still grateful for the stamina he achieved. “Satisfied ako sa condition ko, but not yet 100%. Yung speed, timing, more punches… kulang pa.”
After reviewing the fight replay, Pacquiao said he was generally pleased. “Twelve rounds against a younger opponent — okay na yun,” he remarked.
When asked about his future plans, the eight-division world champion hinted that fans might not have to wait long for his next appearance in the ring. “This year. Mga December,” he confirmed.

Speaking about his return to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas — where he has fought more times than any other boxer — Pacquiao called it “historic.” “History din yun dahil ako pinakamarami ng fight sa MGM. Nag-isa, ako lang nag-isa,” he said proudly.
The experience was made even more special by the presence of his family. “Inspired ako. Complete family. Malakas sumigaw.”
Now back in Manila, Pacquiao plans to rest, play golf, and keep up his jogging routine. Showing off his toned physique, he stressed the importance of maintaining balance in his fitness. “Relax muna. Pero training pa rin,” he added.
