Sen. Kiko Pangilinan’s Daughter Frankie Pangilinan Appointed as Committee of Youth Chairperson
FRANKIE PANGILINAN – The daughter of Senator Kiko Pangilinan joined the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc. as the Youth Committee chairperson.
During the opening of the 20th Congress, the senators elected their Senate President who SP Chiz Escudero managed to remain in his position. Among those who voted for Escudero were returning senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan who got a “come from behind” win during the 2025 Midterm Elections.
Both Pangilinan and Aquino were away from politics since 2022 following the loss of former Vice President Leni Robredo and then-Senator Kiko Pangilinan in the presidential and vice presidential race. Aquino was the campaign manager of the Leni-Kiko tandem then.
In the 2025 Midterm Elections, former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo won Naga Mayor while senators Bam Aquino and Kiko Pangilinan placed second and fifth in the 2025 Senatorial Race. Both returning senators also secured the committees that are undeniably fitted for their vocations and pursuits.
Sen. Bam Aquino heads the Senate Committee on Basic Education while Sen. Kiko Pangilinan leads the Senate Committee on Agriculture. Pangilinan also recently replaced actor-turned-senator Robin Padilla as the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Constitutional Amendments and Revision of Codes.
Currently, not only Sen. Kiko Pangilinan is leading a committee in the Senate and part of the affairs of the upper chamber but as well as his daughter, Frankie Pangilinan. The second daughter of the Senator with Megastar Sharon Cuneta was appointed as the chairperson of the Committee on Youth of the Senate Spouses Foundation Inc.
It was Megastar Sharon Cuneta who shared about Frankie Pangilinan accepting the challenge to lead the Youth Committee of the Senate Spouses Inc. through a social media post and the actress-singer is so proud of her “baby girl”.
Frankie Pangilinan has just graduated from college in New York. Her graduation was almost in time for the proclamation of the winning senators of the 2025 Midterm Elections, thus, Sen. Kiko Pangilinan was not able to attend the proclamation event set by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) then. She was represented by her sister.
The daughter of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and Sharon Cuneta is one of the celebrity youths in the Philippines who are vocal about the different issues in the country. She stressed that she is speaking up on the issues as a citizen of the nation. During the 2025 Midterm Elections campaign, Frankie Pangilinan wrote a heartfelt plea to mayors for the senatorial bid of her father, now Sen. Kiko Pangilinan.
