This, she said, is because she now leans heavily on divine guidance when making romantic decisions.
“Kasi naranasan ko na po ‘yung love ni God… very clear ‘yung instruction ni Jesus na the man that I am going to be with is someone who is spiritually mature,” she continued. This strong conviction has influenced how she approaches potential partners, even if they seem ideal on paper.
Jennica recounted meeting two eligible men—a building owner in his late 30s and a good-looking restaurateur—both unmarried and accomplished. But when she asked about their spiritual lives, she sensed a red flag. “To clarify, these men are great,” she said. “It’s just that when I asked them how are their relationship with Christ, who is God for you, doon pa lang kasi alam ko na medyo ano na eh.”
