Awra Briguela’s Heartfelt Tribute to Vice Ganda After Academic Milestone
AWRA BRIGUELA – Young actress and internet personality Awra Briguela turned a simple report card into a powerful gesture of gratitude by dedicating her academic achievement to none other than Vice Ganda.
Awra Briguela proudly shared her latest academic achievement on social media, dedicating the milestone to her mentor and talent manager, Vice Ganda. In a heartfelt Instagram post on July 11, Briguela posted her report card and expressed how much it meant to her to make Vice Ganda proud.
“There’s a different kind of fulfillment when you get to show your grades to the person who sent you to school, the one who never stopped believing in you, even in moments when you doubted yourself. I’m so proud of how far I’ve come, and even prouder knowing that I made her proud. This is all for you,” the young star captioned the post.
Briguela added that she felt “fulfilled and proud” to have reached this moment, especially considering the challenges she faced in recent years. Her strong bond with Vice Ganda has been a source of strength and motivation throughout her journey.
Earlier, Briguela was recognized by the University of the East Basic Education Department with the Principal’s Choice Award for her “outstanding and invaluable contribution to promoting the university on social media.” Despite controversies in the past, she continues to shine academically and personally.
In 2023, Briguela made headlines after she was arrested by Makati City police following a bar brawl in Barangay Poblacion. She was released on bail shortly afterward. Vice Ganda, standing firm in his support, clarified that Briguela remained under his management and needed more guidance.
Last year, Briguela also received praise for standing up against gender discrimination after being criticized for wearing the female school uniform. The University of the East publicly backed her, showing their support for her right to express her identity.
Briguela’s journey, filled with ups and downs, reflects her resilience. As she continues her studies and career, her message to Vice Ganda remains clear: “I’m very grateful for your generosity and for always giving me nothing but genuine love […] I’ll make you, myself, and everybody proud.”
