Bodies Allegedly Dumped in Taal Lake as Missing Sabungeros Top 100
TAAL LAKE – A whistleblower has come forward claiming that around 100 sabungeros and gamblers were allegedly killed and their bodies dumped in Taal Lake.
A shocking revelation has come to light after a former security guard, identified only as “Totoy,” alleged that the number of missing sabungeros (cockfighting enthusiasts) is far greater than initially reported. Contrary to previous reports stating that 34 individuals were involved, “Totoy” claimed that over 100 people may have been abducted and killed due to alleged cheating in cockfighting and other gambling activities such as jueteng.
“Sa pagkakaalam ko, hindi lang 34 ‘yan. Mahigit 100 ‘yan. Kaya ako nananawagan sa lahat ng mga pamilyang namatayan, simula sa jueteng hanggang sa missing sabungero, lumantad na kayo at ako ang susi ng lahat,” he said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

According to “Totoy,” many victims were lured to Talisay, Batangas—near Taal Lake—where he believes they were tortured and eventually killed. He further claimed that their bodies were dumped in the lake to conceal the crimes.
“Totoy,” who says he previously worked as a farm manager and trusted associate of businessman Atong Ang, pointed to cheating in cockfighting games as the reason behind the executions.
“Gumagawa kasi sila ng mga kalokohan, pandaraya sa sabong,” he added.
He also alleged that Ang was involved in the killings, claiming that the businessman sought to protect the integrity of the gambling operations by cracking down on cheaters.

However, Atong Ang has denied all the accusations. In a statement released by his legal team, they strongly dismissed the claims and announced legal action.
“The accusations against Atong Ang are entirely false, baseless, and malicious. He categorically and unequivocally denies any involvement in the alleged unlawful, heinous, and criminal acts that have recently been reported and linked to him,” Ang’s legal team said.
The whistleblower also alleged that certain policemen were ordered to handle suspected cheaters, raising further questions about possible collusion within law enforcement.
Authorities have yet to confirm the extent of these claims, but investigations are ongoing as public outcry and demands for justice intensify.
