MISS GRAND PHILIPPINES – Get ready for a night of glamor and competition as Miss Grand Philippines announces its most thrilling coronation night yet, with four crowns on the line.
Pageant enthusiasts have something exciting to look forward to as Miss Grand Philippines officially announced the date for its much-awaited coronation night. According to a recent post on the pageant’s official Instagram account, the grand finale will take place on August 12, 2025, at 7 p.m., at the iconic Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.
This year’s event will be especially significant, as four major crowns will be awarded, including the title of Miss Grand International Philippines. The successor to current titleholder CJ Opiaza will be named, along with the winners of Miss Asia Pacific International Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, and Face of Beauty International Philippines.
The pageant organization is hopeful for another strong showing on the global stage, especially following the recent success of Filipina Dia Mate, who is the current Reina Hispanoamericana. As stated in the Instagram post’s caption, the group is aiming for a “back-to-back crown for the Philippines.”
Currently, 29 candidates are in the running for these prestigious titles. These contestants were chosen during the final screening, held on May 24, which the organization described as “the first step towards representing the Philippines on the international stage of Miss Grand International.”
The search began earlier this year when applications opened in March. Through social media, the organization invited aspiring beauty queens, noting that they welcomed both “seasoned” veterans and first-time applicants.
All eyes are now on who will take over from CJ Opiaza, who made a powerful impression during her reign and crowning moment in Bangkok. “Before I signed up for this job, I know I was born ready, I am always ready, and now I have been given the challenge and I am taking that challenge and I am taking the responsibility to be your first runner-up and now to be your Miss Grand International 2024,” she said during the emotional ceremony.
With high stakes and national pride on the line, this year’s Miss Grand Philippines promises to be an event to remember.
