SWS Reveals Pres. Bongbong Marcos Trust Rating for June 2025
BONGBONG MARCOS TRUST RATING – The latest survey of Social Weather Station (SWS) showed an increase in the public trust of the Filipinos to the President.
Opinion polling bodies usually determine the public trust to officials through a monthly survey. Two (2) of these entities that usually conduct survey are the Social Weather Station or more popularly called as SWS and the OCTA Research Group. Recently, the SWS conducted its survey to determine the public trust to the President.

Previously, amid his low trust ratings, Pres. Bongbong Marcos stressed that there are a lot of surveys and the performance of a government official should not be based in one survey only. The Chief Executive previously had decreasing trust ratings. Meanwhile, based on the latest survey of SWS, Pres. Bongbong Marcos trust rating increased.

Based on a report on GMA News, Pres. Bongbong Marcos trust rating increased by 10 percentage points from 38% in May to 48% in June as per an SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase. There are 1,200 respondents composed of Filipino adults across the nation from June 25 to 29.
The respondents were asked to assess the level of their trust to the government officials including Marcos Jr. They were given the following categories in indicating their trust level:
- very much
- somewhat much
- undecided if much or little
- somewhat little
- very little
The SWS survey commissioned by Stratbase found a ±3% margin of error. Based on the report, the latest survey came with results that 30% had little trust and 21% of the respondents were undecided.

Recently, Pres. Bongbong Marcos is busy in visiting the different projects of the government. Previously, in a podcast, he stressed that it is really different to see the different government agencies and the projects of the government personally.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos denied having a role in the impeachment process of Vice Pres. Sara Duterte. According to him, he is busy on the things that would benefit the lives of the Filipino people and the country. Malacañang has repeatedly stressed that the President will not intervene on the impeachment process.
One of the most popular campaign promises of Marcos Jr. is the affordable rice for the Filipino people. With rice being a staple food in the country, many Filipinos would surely benefit it. However, amid their rift, Vice Pres. Sara Duterte believes that the recent fulfillment of the campaign promise is quite late.
Meanwhile, amid the previous criticisms from the Vice President, Pres. Bongbong Marcos confirmed that the selling of P20 per kilo rice is continuous.
