Sen. Bong Go Wants Fast, Inclusive & Caring Services for Filipinos
BONG GO – The reelected Senator filed 21 priority measures in the 20th Congress — his 3rd batch of proposed bills.
Sen. Go led the senatorial race winners in the 2025 Midterm Elections. He was one of the senatorial bets of the PDP-Laban which was supported by the Duterte family. It is no secret to the public that the Senator is really very close to the Dutertes.

Prior to winning as senator in the 2019 Midterm Elections, Go has served as the personal assistant of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Even after his presidential term ended, he remains a loyal ally of the former Chief Executive.

Sen. Bong Go was even one of the senators who signed the resolution of Sen. Robin Padilla seeking for Duterte’s return to the Philippines. The former President is currently under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands.
Go also previously confirmed that the former President is now “skin and bones” after a massive weight loss. When the former President was arrested, he stressed that Duterte is old and has lots of health conditions already.

Recently, Sen. Bong Go filed the third batch of his priority measures. Based on a post on his social media account, it is composed of 21 proposed measures that seek to provide fast, inclusive, and caring service to every Filipino.
Here are the 21 priority bills filed by the Senator:
1. Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Centers in Every Region
2. New Building Code
3. Media and Entertainment Workers’ Welfare
4. Social Workers Welfare and Compensation
5. Hazard Pay for Disaster Personnel
6. Freelance Workers Protection
7. Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino Program
8. Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship Subjects
9. Full crop insurance coverage for agrarian reform beneficiaries
10. Magna Carta of Government Accountants
11. New Philippine Midwifery Act
12. Institutionalization of AICS
13. Early voting for senior citizens and PWDs
14. National Tertiary Games
15. Sustainable Financing Program for MSEs
16. Post Harvest Facilities in Every Agricultural Municipality
17. Fertilizer subsidy for farmers
18. PCG Modernization
19. Simplified drug rehabilitation admission process
20. Scholarship for children of military and uniformed personnel killed-in-action
21. National Housing Development Production and Financing Program

Sen. Bong Go stressed that he wants to bring the services of the government closer to the people most especially the underprivileged. Aside from filing his priority measures, based on the post, he also greeted the following local chief executives who visited the Senate:
- Laguna Governor Sol Aragones
- Don Carlos, Bukidnon Mayor Alona Pizarro and Councilor Jose Miguel Anton Pizarro
- Brgy. Tubaran Captain Rosette Cabahug and Brgy. Poblacion Captain Archie Simanghon of Tubod, Lanao del Norte
- Davao Oriental Board Member Beverly Dayanan
“Ilapit natin ang serbisyo ng gobyerno sa ating mga kababayan, lalo na sa mga mahihirap,” Sen. Go said.
Sen. Bong Go, together with senators Bato dela Rosa and Robin Padilla, also recently filed a Senate resolution for the house arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. Another known Duterte-ally, Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano, filed a similar resolution prior to it.
