Duterte-ally Senators Bato dela Rosa, Bong Go, Robin Padilla Make Another Move for FPRRD
BATO DELA ROSA, BONG GO, ROBIN PADILLA – The Duterte-ally senators filed a Senate resolution seeking for the house arrest of former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte is detained under the custody of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Netherlands for more than 100 days now. He spent his 80th birthday last March 28 inside the ICC detention facility following his arrest last March 11.

Recently, several family members of the former President spoke about his current physical physique. Elizabeth Zimmerman, the ex-wife of the former Chief Executive, claimed that former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is already “skin and bones” inside the ICC detention facility. The former Chief Executive allegedly lost his appetite on food.

Vice Pres. Sara Duterte confirmed that her father is “skin and bones” now but claims that she prefers it compared to his previous physique with a huge tummy. According to her, his belly then looks very unhealthy for his heart.
The recent claims of the Duterte family sparked worries among the Duterte supporters. Recently, Senator Alan Peter Cayetano filed a resolution seeking for a house arrest for former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte. He cited the deteriorating health, old age, and prolonged social isolation of the former Chief Executive in the Senate resolution.

Cayetano also claimed that denying Duterte of time with his family in his twilight years is allegedly an injustice. He urges the Philippine government to call for the grant of the interim release bid of the former President.
Recently, more Duterte-ally senators joined the call for the house arrest of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte. Based on a post of ABS-CBN News on social media, senators Bato dela Rosa, Bong Go, and Robin Padilla filed a resolution that cited the health problems, old age, and social isolation of the former Chief Executive.
“In view of his old age, various medical conditions, and social isolation from loved ones, FPRRD’s health is in danger of deteriorating further,” the senators said in the resolution.

Based on the post, the resolution of senators Bato dela Rosa, Bong Go, and Robin Padilla also stated that former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte assumed responsibility for the law and order during his term as president.

Previously, following the first resolution filed, a lawyer claimed that Sen. Alan Cayetano’s resolution for house arrest is allegedly based on “hearsay” and is unlikely to be considered by the ICC.
