From Showbiz to the Skies: Xian Lim Earns His Commercial Pilot Wings
XIAN LIM – Actor Xian Lim proudly announced on Instagram that he has officially earned his Commercial Pilot License.
Xian Lim, a multi-talented actor and director, just achieved a major milestone—he is now a licensed commercial pilot. Sharing the exciting news with his followers on Instagram, Lim expressed his joy and disbelief, calling the journey “life-changing.”
“CPL! Commercial Pilot License!” Xian wrote. “I still can’t believe it. Ang bilis ng mga pangyayari. This journey has truly been life-changing and I’m filled with gratitude. Hindi ako makapaniwala sa bilis ng mga pangyayari.”
Lim, who trained at Top Flight Academy, expressed heartfelt gratitude to those who helped him reach this point. He credited the institution and its instructors for guiding him through the intense training.
”To my Top Flight Academy family, thank you for believing in me and pushing me beyond what I thought was possible. Everything happened so fast, pero you were there to guide me every moment, every step of the way!”
Special thanks were given to Capt. Chiclet Pecson, his primary flight instructor, for patience and encouragement throughout their sessions.
“To Capt. @chiclet.pecson, thank you for your endless patience and dedication in guiding me sa flights. Every new maneuver, ’di ko talaga akalain na kakayanin ko pero you always pushed me na kakayanin. Susuka pero di susuko. Repetition, repetition, Repetition! Aerobatic maneuvers next! Lezzzgo!”
He also recognized Capt. Sahl Onglatco and all the flight instructors who inspired students through tough times.
“To Capt. @sahl.onglatco and all our flight instructors, maraming salamat na you always keep us, students, motivated. There is always something to look forward to. Even when things get rough, you make sure we keep the fire burning.”
Acknowledging his fellow aviation students, Lim said, “To my flymates… the wingmans and my Indian friends from Nepal, salamat ng marami for being there through every challenging maneuver…”
With humor and gratitude, Xian celebrated the high point of his journey: “Bakit ba ang haba ng caption? Lol. Masaya lang. Kakatapos lang ng checkride… CPL: Coffee Powered License. Waley.”
He ended with an inspiring message: “Let this be a reminder… that nothing is impossible if you have the heart, the passion, and the right people around you… This is only the beginning. Let’s keep flying.”
