Ivana Alawi Heartfelt Hospital Visit Leaves Children Smiling at PCMC
IVANA ALAWI – Youtube star Ivana Alawi visited the Philippine Children’s Medical Center to personally check on young patients and offer financial assistance.
Kapamilya actress Ivana Alawi recently brought joy and hope to young patients at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center (PCMC) through financial aid and a heartfelt visit featured in her latest vlog titled “Buhay Ospital.”
Before the vlog began, Ivana made a clear disclaimer explaining that the initiative had been carefully planned well in advance. “Since last year pa kami nag-prepare sa pagkuha ng mga permit at pagpapaalam sa lahat ng tao na makikita sa video na ito,” the actress stated, emphasizing their commitment to respecting the privacy and consent of all involved.
During her visit, Ivana not only spent time with the patients and their families but also spoke with doctors and nurses who work tirelessly to care for the sick children. The vlog highlighted the emotional and financial struggles these families face, and Ivana provided several patients with financial aid amounting to ₱50,000 each.
“Napakahirap kasi magkasakit. Financially, mentally, everything [damay]. Kaya ito, maliit na tulong. Na-touch nga ako kanina kasi big thing na pumunta ako dito kasi sumaya sila,” Ivana shared, moved by the gratitude and smiles of the children and their families.
The actress also reflected on her own life and problems, recognizing how much more challenging the children’s situations are. “Sobrang hirap nung nakita ko ‘yung sitwasyon nila tapos ako umaarte sa mga problema ko. ‘Yung mga bata mas malaki ‘yung problema nila,” she admitted.
To show appreciation for the medical staff, Ivana gifted a brand new phone to a doctor and nurse who accompanied her during the hospital rounds.
She concluded the vlog with a heartfelt request to her viewers: “Mabigat nakapanood ng mga ganitong kuwento pero pakiusap ko sana wag n’yo po sana i-skip ang mga ads, dahil lahat ng kikitain ng video na ito ay ido-donate natin sa Philippine Children’s Medical Center. Maraming salamat po,” she said.
Ivana’s generosity and compassion reminded many that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
