Pres. Bongbong Marcos Speaks on Experience during MRT-3 Travel
BONGBONG MARCOS – The President claimed that he and his family and friends often use the MRT-3 saying it is a faster way to get to Cubao.
Recently, Pres. Marcos has started releasing podcasts where he speaks on interviews about the programs and projects of the government, the vision of his administration, and his take on certain important issues in the Philippines. It was previously in his podcast where he spoke about his order for a courtesy resignation among his Cabinet secretaries.

According to Pres. Bongbong Marcos, inefficient government officials should “get out of the way” so they can continue to do their job. He stressed that he is really against the “business as usual” as it has caused the problems of the country now.

The President also stressed that the government will now be very conscientious in achieving the goals on time. He also expressed his belief on the value of personally going to see the projects and the different government agencies. According to the Chief Executive, there were cases when the report was far from the reality.
Marcos Jr. confirmed that the entire government is currently “on probation”. According to him, he has fired several government officials already and they were just not publicized. He confirmed that there are also cases of erring officials being put on a “floating” mode.

Recently, in another podcast, Pres. Bongbong Marcos shared about his experience in riding the train in the Philippines. The Chief Executive claimed that he and his family and friends often use the MRT-3. Based on a report on GMA News, his statement came amid his clarification that last June 1 was “not the first time” that he rode the MRT-3.
”First of all, hindi ‘to first time na sumakay ako ng MRT, madalas namin gamitin ‘yung MRT dahil sa traffic. Mas mabilis eh. Kami… pamilya ko, mga kaibigan ko. Hindi practical matraffic, magdadalawang oras ka hanggang Cubao,” the President said.

Based on the report, Pres. Bongbong Marcos also claimed that he usually talks to the commuters. According to him, he personally experienced the sentiment of the commuters about the crowded situation inside the train,
”Naramdaman ko ‘yan, minsan sumakay kami ng MRT, talagang pag nakapasok ka na, basta’t ‘yung kamay mo nandito, hindi mo na magagalaw ‘yun. Nakadikit ka na dito. Kinakausap ko mga pasahero, ‘Sir, ganyan talaga ‘yan araw-araw,”’ he said.
Previously, Marcos Jr. announced the Pamilya Pass in riding the LRT-1, the LRT-2, and the MRT-3. Under the program, families or groups of four people will only have to pay for one (1) passenger fare every Sunday starting June 1, 2025.
Amid the political turmoil in the government, the President has remained mum. Previously, Malacañang said Pres. Bongbong Marcos is not open to any dialogue about Vice Pres. Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial.
