Annabelle Rama’s Health Update: Gutierrez Family Shares Relief Amid Italy Recovery
ANNABELLE RAMA – Veteran talent manager and celebrity Annabelle Rama is steadily recovering in Italy after experiencing a medical emergency during her European vacation.
Annabelle Rama is currently recuperating following a medical emergency during her European trip. Although she was unable to attend a recent family gathering at their Quezon City home last Sunday, her family remains relieved and hopeful, knowing she is safe and steadily recovering in Italy.
Annabelle experienced severe foot swelling and pain, reportedly caused by extensive walking during her travels in Europe. This unexpected health issue alarmed her loved ones, especially daughter Ruffa Gutierrez, who initially had difficulty reaching her mother during the incident.
Fortunately, Annabelle has already undergone a medical check-up and is now taking prescribed medication to address her condition. As she shared with her family, “Nag-take na ako ng medicine kaso ihi ako nang ihi.” This humorous yet honest remark reassured everyone that she is receiving proper treatment.
Despite her health scare, Annabelle, affectionately called “Bisaya,” has not lost her adventurous spirit. She continues to go out and explore, although she now prefers to sit in coffee shops and rest when faced with long walks. “Naglalakad na siya ulit, pero kapag mahaba ang lalakarin ay mas pinipili na lamang niyang umupo sa mga coffee shop habang hinihintay ang mga kasama sa trip.”
During a recent update from columnist Jun Lalin of Abante, it was confirmed that the Gutierrez family felt much lighter knowing Annabelle’s condition is improving. Present during the family catch-up were Eddie, Ruffa, Elvis, and Raymond Gutierrez, who all expressed relief upon learning that Annabelle was doing better—even if she couldn’t be with them physically.
Ruffa also revealed that she advised her mother to rest and stay at the hotel, but Annabelle insisted on enjoying her vacation. “Gusto pa rin daw nitong i-enjoy ang bakasyon sa Italy kahit may limitasyon na ang kilos.”
Thankfully, she was able to find the right medication and consult with doctors in Italy, providing great comfort not only to her family but also to her many concerned friends and supporters who continue to monitor her condition.
