Gabbi Garcia spoke about the kind of role she hopes to take on in the future
GABBI GARCIA – The “Pinoy Big Brother” Celebrity Collab Edition host spoke about the kind of role she hopes to take on in the future.
In the 4th episode of “Bida/Bida” by Netflix Philippines, Gabbi Garcia, Maymay Entrata, and Lovi Poe asked each other about their dream role. Both Maymay and Lovi said that their dream role is to star in an action project.
Gabbi revealed that her dream role is to star in a GL (Girls’ Love) project. But when she was asked about the actress that she would like to partner with in a GL project, she immediately chose Maymay.

The TV host also emphasized the importance of constantly evolving as an actress, especially when working across different roles and genres.
“As an actor, it’s constantly reinventing yourself in all the roles that you’re going to portray, kasi siyempre hindi pwedeng pare-parehas,” Gabbi said. “Actually that’s challenging, for example you get so much projects na ito ‘yung genre, so you have to constantly reinvent yourself.”
In the same interview, the actress also talked about her preparation for her latest digital series, “How to Cheat Death”, which is currently streaming on Netflix. She stars in the series alongside her partner, Khalil Ramos.

According to her, they sat down with the creators of the show so they can collaborate. She added that they had to find the part of her in the character she was portraying, and she’s grateful that the director and the writers were open to sitting down with them so they can write down the best character description for them and they can work on it together.
Gabbi also shared that she and Khalil seldom work together and it’s rare that they get to actually act together in a project.
“We seldom work together. We often work together siguro for content. Not as actors. So this is like rare times na we get to actually act together,” she said. “And it’s different kasi siyempre we know each other so well on a deep level tapos when it comes to the set, it always has to be new.”
When it comes to their on-set chemistry, the actress said that she and her boyfriend are both actors and are playing different roles so their chemistry needs to be always fresh. She then described it as “kind of challenging but at the same time comforting as well”.
