From Actress to Surf Queen: Andi Eigenmann Stuns at Major Siargao Competition

Andi Eigenmann Joins Elite Surfers, Ranks 6th in Queen of the Point Competition

ANDI EIGENMANN – Actress-turned-surfer Andi Eigenmann proved she can hold her own among top athletes as she secured 6th place in the prestigious Queen of the Point competition in Siargao.

Andi Eigenmann has once again proven her love for the ocean—not just as a beach dweller, but as a true wave rider—after landing 6th place at the Queen of the Point surfing competition held over the weekend in Siargao. The all-women longboarding event, set at the iconic Cloud 9 surf break, showcased some of the best female surfers from both the Philippines and around the world.

Taking to Instagram on May 6, Eigenmann shared her excitement and gratitude with a series of action shots and snapshots from the post-event celebration. “Stoooked! Made my first ever finals at Queen of the Point — Cloud 9! Placed 6th! Yiiw! Grateful beyond words to share the lineup with such powerful, inspiring women both from Siargao and from other parts of the world.”

Eigenmann, who left the glitz of showbiz for the serene surf life in Siargao, highlighted how much the competition meant to her, calling it a celebration of “sisterhood, strength, and the beauty of women’s surfing.”

She didn’t forget to credit her biggest supporters—her partner, professional surfer Philmar Alipayo, and their daughter Lilo. In her heartfelt caption, she thanked Alipayo not just for his support but also for wearing multiple hats during the event: “Another special thanks to [@chepoxz] for lending his surfer hat to me and Lilo for this weekend, and supporting us throughout! — as the designated driver, surf coach, photo and videographer, stuff carrier, feeder, water guy, cheerleader.”

Surfing clearly runs in the family. Just last year, their daughter Lilo made headlines of her own as the youngest contestant in a local Siargao surf competition, further showing how deeply the waves are woven into the Eigenmann-Alipayo lifestyle.

With this recent milestone, Andi Eigenmann continues to inspire with her commitment to surfing, motherhood, and living authentically—riding life’s waves one break at a time.
