Known for her dedication to public service and heartfelt advocacy for her constituents, Aiko took to social media to express her appreciation for the overwhelming support she received throughout her campaign.
In a joyful Instagram post, Aiko shared photos from her proclamation ceremony and penned a touching message for her family and supporters. “Salamat sa aking pamilya Jay Khonghun, Andre Yllana, Marthena Jickain, sa supporta at pagiging main part ng aking kampanya na sentro sa malasakit at pagmamahal. Sama-sama nameng iniraos ang aking kampanya napalibutan ng mga taong may malasakit, dedikasyon din para sa distrito 5,” she wrote.

She also extended her thanks to her core campaign team, barangay officials, and everyone who helped during the campaign season, acknowledging their crucial role in her success.
As she enters her second term, Aiko promised to continue providing sincere and high-quality service to her constituents.
“Sa aking pangalawang termino umasa po kayo ng mas dekalidad na serbisyo mula po sa akin. Tapat at sentro na me Takot sa DIOS at Bayan!” she said. “Ako po si AIKO MELENDEZ isa sa mga konsehal ninyo. Karangalan ko po ang magserbisyo sa inyo.”

According to the partial and unofficial tally from the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Aiko garnered over 142,495 votes—a strong show of support from her district.
Despite her political success, Aiko remains a well-respected figure in the entertainment industry. Her acting career continues to flourish, with acclaimed roles in projects like Rainbow’s Sunset (2018), Prima Donnas (2019), and Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters (2022).
