Ken Chan Parties in Thailand While Facing Estafa Charges in PH
KEN CHAN – Kapuso actor Ken Chan, currently facing Syndicated Estafa charges in the Philippines, was recently caught on video partying in Thailand during the Songkran Festival.
Ken Chan has drawn public attention after being spotted partying in Thailand, despite facing a serious legal issue in the Philippines.
A now-deleted TikTok video surfaced showing the actor enjoying himself at the Songkran Festival, an annual Thai celebration known for its massive water fights and lively street parties. According to the report, the video quickly circulated online before being taken down, but not before netizens caught wind of Ken’s appearance abroad.

The actor’s recent sighting comes amid a pending case of Syndicated Estafa filed against him and seven others in the Philippines. According to a report by ABS-CBN News, Atty. Joseph Noel Estrada confirmed that there is an active warrant of arrest issued by the court.
“There is a pending case of Mr. Ken Chan along with seven other co-accused and there is a pending warrant for their arrest, ngayon pong umaga ini-try pong i-serve ng ating law enforcement team yung warrant na iyon na in-issue ng korte, ang kaso po ay Syndicated Estafa,” said Estrada.
The case reportedly stems from an alleged investment scam that authorities believe had enough evidence to be elevated to court. “Meron pong investment scam na naging basehan po nu’ng complaint at nakitaan ng piskalya na maiakyat po sa korte, makasuhan ng Syndicated Estafa si Ken Chan kasama ‘yung co-accused,” Estrada added.

In November of last year, attempts to serve the arrest warrant at Ken Chan’s residence were unsuccessful as he was not at home during the operation.
As of now, Ken Chan has not issued a public statement regarding the allegations or his recent trip to Thailand. The controversy has sparked discussions online, with fans and critics alike questioning the timing and appropriateness of his overseas activities amid a legal battle.
Many are now awaiting further developments in the case, including whether the actor will return to the Philippines to face the charges
