Pope Francis is one of the few Roman Pontiffs who have visited the Philippines. He joined in the hardship of the Filipinos after Typhoon Yolanda devastated several areas in the country in 2015. He stood with the people of Tacloban in the rain. Countless people could never forget the kind and compassionate nature of the Pope.
