BLACKPINK’s Lisa Says Goodbye to ‘The White Lotus’ with Heartfelt Gratitude
BLACKPINK LISA – Lisa Manoban of girl group Blackpink bid farewell to The White Lotus with a full heart, expressing deep gratitude for her unforgettable acting debut.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa Manoban has officially wrapped up her acting debut in HBO’s hit series The White Lotus Season 3, and she’s leaving the experience with “a full heart.”
Taking to Instagram, the K-pop star shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos and a heartfelt message reflecting on her journey portraying Mook, a wellness guru at a luxury beach resort in Thailand. Lisa expressed her gratitude to series creator Mike White, writing, “Thank you Mike White for trusting in me to fulfill the role of Mook and bring her character to life.”

Born and raised in Thailand, Lisa took pride in being part of a project that not only marked her first acting role but also celebrated her cultural roots. “It was the greatest honor to be part of this show as my first acting gig alongside such incredible actors. And I’m so proud to be able to share my culture and show the beauty of Thailand to the world,” she said.
The singer-turned-actress revealed that the role had a personal impact on her, saying, “Mook has changed my life in a way where I am learning more about myself and my capabilities.” Though sad to see the season end, Lisa closed her message on a hopeful note, saying, “My Sunday nights may feel a lot emptier but closing out The White Lotus with a full heart.”

Lisa’s character, Mook, shared a romantic connection with Gaitok, a security guard portrayed by Tayme Thapthimthong. In a Variety interview, Lisa described Mook as “flirtier and lady-like,” a contrast to her own tomboyish nature.
Lisa joined an impressive ensemble cast that included Leslie Bibb, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Sarah Catherine Hook, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey, Sam Rockwell, and more. Returning cast members Natasha Rothwell and Jon Gries also reprised their fan-favorite roles.
As Lisa closes this chapter, fans are left celebrating not just her successful acting debut, but also the vibrant representation of Thai culture on the global stage.
