Actor Sam Milby Asked about Viral Incident of Catriona Gray Crying at TJ Monterde’s Concert
SAM MILBY – The Kapamilya actor revealed how he felt when Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray was crying at the concert of TJ Monterde.
Filipino singer TJ Monterde recently marked a record with a sold-out concert in Araneta Coliseum. His song Palagi which he made for his wife, fellow singer KZ Tandingan, captured countless hearts. Several celebrities were spotted at the concert of TJ.
John Prats directed the concert of TJ Monterde. It is no secret to the public that John is the best friend of Sam Milby and the actor was also there to watch the event. His ex-fiancée, Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, also watched the concert.
Catriona Gray was spotted crying at the concert of TJ Monterde when he sang the breakup song Hanggang Dito Na Lang. He was seated beside actress Isabel Oli, the wife of John Prats who is also her close friend. Isabel and another person were between the Miss Universe 2018 and Sam Milby.
Videos showing Catriona crying and Sam being seated a few seats away from her gained different reactions from the people. Undeniably, there were netizens who think that the action of the actor shows that he does not care and he has moved on.
Recently, during his interview with Boy Abunda on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, Sam Milby clarified that he felt the opposite if people think that he was comfortable at a concert with Catriona Gray. He stressed that he did not know how to react then.
“A woman that I still love and care about is—I see a few seats away from me—is crying,” the actor said.
Sam Milby clarified that it was a beautiful concert and TJ Monterde sang beautiful songs. However, he admitted that the situation was hard for him.
“TJ, first off, he has beautiful songs. I didn’t know na ganun ‘yung mga songs niya… It was such a beautiful concert… but it was really hard,” the actor said.
