Netizens Feast on Halted Wedding of Groom Allegedly Under Love Potion by his Bride
A groom who was allegedly under a love potion or “gayuma” by his bride returned to his senses on their wedding day after someone threw salt on him.
The presence of the social media platforms have made it easier for many rare incidents to circulate across the online community. Recently, countless netizens dropped different reactions on a viral post about a couple whose wedding has been halted not only because the judge allegedly did not arrive but the man returned to his senses.

Love potion or gayuma is undeniably popular in the Philippines although there are only a few places wherein these substances are being sold. It is believed that the effect of this potion is to make someone fall in love with the person who gave it.
Recently, on social media, photos and videos taken at the supposed wedding of a groom who was allegedly under a “gayuma” by his bride went viral. Several netizens have posted about the alleged incident that drew social media attention.
Based on the post of netizen under the Facebook username Shaira Jane Garcia, the groom was allegedly under a “gayuma” by the bride but the effect of the love potion supposedly vanished after someone threw salt on him. He was allegedly shocked by what was happening which was supposedly their wedding.



Based on the viral post, the wedding did not happen because the judge who was supposedly set to officiate the wedding of the couple did not arrive. Allegedly, the wedding coordinator as well as the suppliers of the food, the venue, the 360 booth, the disc jockey, and the photobooth among others were not paid. The wedding expenses are estimated to have reached more or less Php 500,000.
