Former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s X (Twitter) Account Falls Victim to Hacking
LENI ROBREDO’S X ACCOUNT – The former Vice President advised the public to ignore all the posts in her X account as it was allegedly hacked.
Amid the advancement in technology nowadays, there are also several ill behaviors that have become rampant. One of which is hacking or making an unauthorized access to an account or a computer system. It may compromise digital services and networks.
To recall, there were several instances when known figures in different fields fell victims of hackers. There were also government computer systems that faced problems of unauthorized access. Recently, former Vice President Leni Robredo also informed the public that her account in X, formerly known as Twitter, has been hacked.
Former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo’s X account was hacked, thus, she advised the public to ignore all the posts on her social media account while they are trying to regain control over the account. Currently, there is still no update as to whether or not the access to the X account of the former Vice President has been retrieved.
Former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo is one of the most popular politicians in the Philippines. She served as the Vice President from 2016 to 2022 during the Duterte administration. It was no secret to the public that Duterte and Robredo did not work smoothly together. Meanwhile, despite getting the smallest budget from the national government, the Office of the Vice President was able to run several programs and services that were beneficial for the Filipino people.
In 2022, she ran for the presidency but lost to Pres. Bongbong Marcos. During the recent flooding in several parts of the country including her hometown, Naga, former Vice Pres. Leni Robredo braved the floodwater to distribute food and water to the flood victims in Naga.
Amid the volunteer work to help the flood victims, she clarified that her team was not receiving cash donations. Instead, it is directed to another entity. Her moves gained countless admiration from many Filipinos.
Robredo is running for Naga Mayor in the upcoming 2025 Midterm Election. Previously, former Vice Pres. Robredo spoke on the possibility of running for president again in 2028.
