KUYA KIM ATIENZA – Kapuso star Kuya Kim Atienza reveals his heartfelt Christmas wish: for his kids to stay safe, discover their purpose, and strengthen their relationship with God.
TV host and health advocate Kim Atienza, fondly known as Kuya Kim, is all set to spend a white Christmas in Vail, Colorado, with his family. Joining him are his wife, Fely, and their three children — Jose III, Eliana, and Emman.
The holiday reunion is especially meaningful since Jose, who works in Boston, and Eliana, currently studying at the University of Pennsylvania, are based in the US. Emman, the youngest, recently finished high school. Their 10-day holiday, spanning December 21 to January 4, is dedicated to family bonding. “We just want the family to spend time together,” Kuya Kim shared with The Philippine STAR.
While the kids plan to hit the slopes, he and Fely will savor the downtime, indulging in hearty meals and the festive atmosphere.
The snow in Colorado, with temperatures plunging to -11°C, provides an ideal setting for skiing — a family tradition they’ve cultivated since the kids were young. “We taught the kids how to ski at a young age, and they are very good skiers,” Kuya Kim proudly shared.
When asked about his Christmas wishes, Kuya Kim emphasized his focus on his family’s well-being. “I just want my children to be safe,” he said. Beyond that, his hope is for his kids to deepen their relationship with God and discover their purpose in life.
According to the report, Kuya Kim also expressed gratitude for the blessings in his personal and professional life. Despite the ever-evolving landscape of Philippine television, he remains a prominent figure, recently renewing his contract with GMA Network for three more years. “To be relevant at this point in my career is such a blessing,” he remarked.
Health, another cornerstone of Kuya Kim’s advocacy, posed no challenges for him this year. Grateful for his good fortune, he acknowledged, “I’ve been blessed and have nothing but gratitude.”
As Kuya Kim looks forward to this snowy retreat with his family, he embodies the spirit of the season — cherishing togetherness, faith, and a heart full of thankfulness.
