The presence of former Pres. Duterte at the recent hearing conducted by the House Quad Committee over his administration’s war on drugs undeniably shocked countless Filipinos. However, there are some things that surprised many people even more — his claims at the hearing.
Duterte has skipped several hearings conducted by the House Quad Comm. There were reasons such as the former President is not feeling well and the transportation to Metro Manila is costly for him. His lawyer also previously admitted that his client has “doubts” on the integrity and independence of the megapanel.
Meanwhile, former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte has decided to appear before the members and leaders of the House Quad Committee. He made several revelations at the hearing including a confirmation of the accusation that he allegedly gave cash rewards to the cops in the implementation of the drug war.
