Lilo Alipayo Joins 1st Pacifico National Surfing Competition
LILO ALIPAYO – Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo’s daughter Lilo Alipayo participated in the 1st Pacifico National Surfing Competition, which continues until September 18.
Andi Eigenmann is one of the actresses that left the Philippine showbiz industry to pursue a simpler life. She chose to live on Siargao Island, putting behind the luxury she had enjoyed and has been living there for several years.
Andi has been in a relationship with professional surfer Philmar Alipayo for nearly six years. Together, they have two kids: Lilo and Koa, while Andi’s eldest daughter, Ellie, is from her former relationship with Jake Ejercito. Despite not being Ellie’s real father, Philmar treats her as his own.
Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo had to postpone their wedding, partly due to the untimely death of Andi’s mother, Jaclyn Jose, who died of a heart attack in March.
Recently, the celebrity mom responded to unsolicited comments regarding Lilo’s education. She assured the netizens that her daughter is thriving both academically and as a surfer.
Lilo is clearly taking after her parents. On Saturday, September 14, Andi and Philmar’s five-year-old daughter participated in her first national surfing event, “The 1st Pacifico National Surfing Competition,” which took place in their hometown of Siargao.
Philmar was overjoyed, particularly because Lilo appeared to have inherited his surfing abilities. “Her first competition. Super happy and proud of you, baba,” he posted on Instagram.
Previously, Andi Eigenmann shared a video of her daughter Lilo tackling larger waves while surfing, impressing many with her progress from surfing alongside her father.
It’s no wonder their children have embraced this way of life as well. Last year, Lilo expressed her desire to become a surfing champion, just like her father.
