Carlos Yulo, Chloe San Jose Talk about Relationship on Toni Talks Interview
Chloe San Jose admitted that she also had family problems when she and Carlos Yulo were starting in their relationship and they had a messy start.
Among the people who rose to popularity this year are Carlos and Chloe because of his double wins in the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, France. His victory marked the Philippines’ first double gold win in the Olympics, the biggest sports event in the world.
Carlos Yulo won Olympic gold medals in vault event and floor exercise. He is not only the first Filipino to win a double gold in the Olympics but also the first Southeast Asian athlete to have such victory.
The success of Carlos Yulo in the Paris Olympics invited a lot of rewards, gifts and incentives for him. Not only the Philippine government but as well as several giant companies rewarded Caloy for the pride and honor that he gave the Philippines.
However, not only his brilliance in gymnastics was exposed to the public but as well as his family issues and personal life. Countless people became interested about the life of Caloy.
It is now no secret to the public that Carlos Yulo and his mother, Angelica, had a feud over money. The Olympics double gold Medalist also revealed that his mother did not like his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.
Recently, Carlos Yulo and Chloe San Jose appeared for an interview for Toni Talks, the YouTube vlog of Toni Gonzaga. During the interview, the couple talked about their relationship and how they started.
Carlos was vocal that he did not expect the coming of Chloe into his life. His girlfriend even revealed that prior to their meeting, Caloy got heartbroken by someone which pushed him further to focus on gymnastics and the Olympics.
Chloe San Jose is from Australia and she’s already a content creator when Carlos Yulo started following her on social media. He got attracted and interested to her. She revealed that he professed his love for her just 10 days after they started talking.
After two (2) months, Carlos and Chloe became official. However, the couple admitted that they had a messy start in their relationship and she also had family problems in Australia.
“‘Yung start namin puro magulo, hindi iyong happy moments… Hindi ko pa nahahanap mismo ang sarili ko that time,” Caloy said.
Chloe San Jose also admitted that they started on their “bad sides”. She moved out from their family’s home in Australia and started living independently which made Carlos Yulo worry as he was not informed. Meanwhile, since they talked about their relationship, they held on tight even on a long distance relationship (LDR) set-up.
According to Caloy, even prior to the Paris Olympics, Chloe was already his backbone in his pursuit to win the Olympics. She even stayed in the Philippines with him as he needed him as he prepares for the Olympics.
“Siya yung nagiging hingahan ko po and pahinga din po at the same time,” he said during the interview.
Currently, it is still unclear if Carlos Yulo and his mother have talked but the netizens spotted him in her live selling.
