Recently, during a hearing in the House of Representatives over the illegal POGO operations, Cassandra Ong felt dizzy. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, her blood pressure dropped to 80/40 during the House inquiry.

Dr. Jose Luis Bautista, the physician in the House of Representatives, said that Ong’s condition is “unstable”. The doctor also said that the BP and the blood sugar cannot be taken separately. He said that one may be affecting the other.

“To put it in a nutshell, Ms. Cassandra Li Ong is quite unstable as of this moment. Definitely, as I saw earlier, her blood pressure was very low, unreadable na,” the House physician said.

Based on the report, Dr. Jose Luis Bautista also recommended bringing Cassandra Ong immediately to the hospital. According to the physician, she must undergo medical testings. This morning, the BP of Ong “is only 70/40”.

Bautista also recommended that Ong will be worked up properly so there would be proper diagnosis to what she is going through right now. Based on the report, the lawmakers agreed to the recommendation of the doctor.

“We actually don’t know if it is because of heart failure or something like that,” Bautista said.
