Toni Gonzaga Interviews Carlos Yulo, Chloe San Jose
CARLOS YULO – The Paris Olympics Double Gold Medalist expressed that he has forgiven his family and he had his own share of karma.
This year marks the Philippines’ best performance in the Olympics so far. This year’s Olympics was held in Paris, France and four (4) Filipino athletes brought home Olympic medals from their wins. The country finished the Olympics as the best-performing Southeast Asian nation.
Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo won two (2) Olympic gold medals from his performance in men’s vault event and floor exercise. Boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas won Olympic bronze medals.
Multi-million cash rewards, incentives, and gifts were extended to Carlos Yulo for his double gold win in the Olympics. The Philippine government and several private entities like Megaworld, Toyota, Chery Auto, and Vikings rewarded Caloy for the pride and honor he brought the country.
Boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas also received rewards and gifts from the Philippine government and several private entities for their Olympic wins. The Pinoy athletes who represented the country in the 2024 Paris Olympics were greeted with a warm welcome upon their homecoming.
However, even prior to his homecoming, many people did not only feast on the double gold victory of Caloy. His family issues also did not skip the public eye.
Many people are aware now that Carlos Yulo has family issues. There were money issues between him and his mother and Angelica Yulo is also not in favor of his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. His family also claimed that they were like begging for his time.
Recently, during an interview with Toni Gonzaga for Toni Talks, Carlos Yulo said that he refused to speak his side on their family issues as he believes it is too personal already. The Olympics double gold medalist has a reserved personality and he stressed that his conscience is clear.
Caloy admitted that he also realized his fault when he spoke back to his parents to “defend himself and their relationship”. He believes he suffered the consequences of his action already and he stressed that he has forgiven his family on their issues.
“Napatawad ko sila. Inamin ko sa sarili ko na nagkamali ako. Kinarma na ‘ko kasi mali nga naman na sagutin mo sila ng ganun,” Carlos said.
During the interview, Carlos Yulo stressed that he has asked forgiveness to God for his fault. According to him, he is now focusing on himself and his relationship with his girlfriend. Also, during the interview, Chloe San Jose revealed that she had family problems, too, when she and Caloy were just starting.
