Here’s Photo Of Alice Guo’s ‘Lookalike’
ALICE GUO – Mayor Alice Guo’s ‘doppelganger’ or lookalike appeared at the National Bureau of Investigation today.
Alice Guo was arrested by local police in Tangerang, Indonesia, on September 4 and was handed over to Philippine authorities the following day. She was returned to the Philippines on September 6 and is currently detained by the Philippine National Police at Camp Crame, Quezon City.
Guo faces multiple legal charges, including alleged involvement in a raid on a Philippine offshore gaming operator (POGO) hub in Bamban, as well as accusations of money laundering, tax evasion, and providing false information on her candidacy documents. She also has an outstanding Senate arrest order for frequently skipping hearings related to the POGO raid.
Following her arrest, Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner Norman Tansingco expressed hope that Guo’s testimony in Senate and House hearings would shed light on how she managed to leave the country. He added that ongoing investigations are expected to uncover further details about her illegal departure.
In a previous article, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents alleged that Alice Guo may have used a doppelgänger or lookalike to evade authorities.
An aide of the dismissed mayor Alice Guo appeared before the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Friday to address accusations that she intentionally misled authorities. The NBI previously claimed that Guo’s aide, Catherine Salazar, was used as a decoy during their search for the former mayor in July.
Salazar, who has long black hair and wore glasses, appeared at the NBI for questioning.
Before fleeing the Philippines in July, the bespectacled Guo also had long dark hair. When she was arrested by authorities in Indonesia in early September, however, Guo was sporting a shorter hairstyle.
