Martin Nievera: “We can get married one day”
MARTIN NIEVERA – Here’s what the “Concert King” said when he was asked if he will marry his long-time girlfriend Anj del Rosario soon.
Speaking with entertainment press in a media conference for his upcoming concert, the singer said that he’s not against marriage and he will marry his girlfriend one day. He also shared that he’s with his girlfriend for the longest time.
Martin added that Anj is giving him happiness beyond happiness and his girlfriend also made him the man he is today. The singer added that they will get married one day, and he doesn’t see it not happening.
In a video posted by PEP.ph, Anj can be seen recording a video while Martin answered the question, and she smiled when some members of the entertainment press pointed their cameras at her. Martin then told Anj to “get used to the camera”.
After the Q&A portion in a media conference, Martin was asked in a follow-up interview with PEP.ph about his intention to marry Anj. According to him, their relationship is always been about him and he thinks it’s time that she gets her moment.
Martin also shared that Anj doesn’t want to have a storybook wedding, as she knows he has a very big load on his shoulder with his family.
He went on to share that he’s still very close to his exes and he’s still raising children with his exes.
“She knows very well that it would be selfish of her to just think of herself. That’s what makes her the most beautiful person of my life—that she’s so understanding,” he said. “But her time has to come where she walks that aisle, small aisle, maybe the beach… that we don’t know.”
The singer went on to share that he would like to give his girlfriend a proposal that’s unforgettable. Although he can’t tell when he and his girlfriend will tie the knot, the “Concert King” said he can’t wait too long because of his age.
PEP.ph also reported that Martin was also asked about his dream wedding for Anj. According to him, his ideal wedding is “very private” but he lets his girlfriend decide what she wants for their wedding because she deserves to have her own “moment”.
But when asked who will sing for their wedding, he said, “If Michael Buble is available, I’ll take it!”
