Carlos Yulo’s Father Mark Andrew Yulo Shares Video about Love for Mother
MARK ANDREW YULO – The father of Paris Olympics Double Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo shared a video highlighting love for mother.
This year, the Philippines finished the Olympics as the best-performing Southeast Asian country that participated in the biggest sports event in the world. It brought home two (2) gold medals won by Pinoy gymnast Carlos Yulo and two (2) bronze medals won by Pinay boxers Neshty Petecio and Aira Villegas.
Carlos is the first Filipino athlete to win a double gold in the Olympics. He made countless Filipinos proud and the Philippines beaming with honor as he won gold in men’s floor exercise and vault event.
The Philippine government and several private entities were very excited to reward Caloy for his double Olympic win that brought so much pride and honor to the country. He is not only the first Olympic double gold medalist of PH but also the first Filipino male athlete to win gold.
Carlos Yulo has received at least Php 100 million incentives and rewards for winning two (2) gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics. He has received two (2) brand new cars, a Land Cruiser Prado from Toyota and a Tiggo 7 Pro SUV from Chery Auto.
Megaworld also gifted Carlos with a three-bedroom condo unit in McKinley Hill which is fully furnished with fixtures and furnitures. However, amid the double victory of Caloy in the Olympics, his personal issues with his mother was unveiled.
It was exposed to the public that money issues have caused a rift between Carlos Yulo and his mother, Angelica. The Olympic Double Gold Medalist also claimed that his mother is against his relationship with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. He accused her of judging his girlfriend who grew up abroad right away.
Carlos previously expressed that he has forgiven his mother. In a press conference, Angelica Yulo apologized to her son saying she is just airing the sentiments of a hurting mom. She expressed her willingness to talk to Caloy and she was emotional as she congratulated her son for his Olympic wins.
However, it is still unclear if Caloy and his mother and family have talked. Only Mark Andrew Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s father, has joined the crowd during the athletes’ parade held in Manila. According to the Olympian, he was not able to wave to his father long because there were many people asking for his signature. He expected that his father will be there as it is close to his workplace.
Recently, on social media, Mark Andrew Yulo shared a video highlighting the importance of loving your mother. The speaker in the video stressed the struggle on the part of the parent to be treated hard by a child after all the sacrifices made to raise the child.
