Pres. Bongbong Marcos Proud of Olympic Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo
MARCOS – The Philippine President penned another heartfelt message for Carlos Yulo on his 2nd Paris Olympics gold medal.
Countless people from across the globe is now into the 2024 Olympics held in Paris. Countries are hopeful to bring home medals from the different sports events. The Philippines is one of the participants in the olympics and has already secured four medals.
PH gymnast Carlos Yulo secured two gold medals. Boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas also secured two medals for the country following their semifinals matches.
On Saturday night, the Filipinos rejoiced after Carlos Yulo became the highest pointer in the floor exercises winning his first gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. It is the first gold medal of the Philippines in the said sports event as well as its first Olympic gold medal of a male athlete.
The floor exercises was held at the Bercy Arena in Paris. Countless people were left jaw-dropped by the amazing performance of Caloy. Not only the Filipinos congratulated the gold medalist but as well as many people from other countries including his competitors in men’s floor exercises.
