Angelica Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s Mother, Reveals Receiving Pairs of Nike Shoes
CARLOS YULO’S MOTHER – Angelica Yulo expressed her gratitude for the Nike shoes given to the parents of the Olympic medalists.
This year’s performance of the Philippines is its best performance in the Olympics so far. It finished the event on the 37th spot among more than 200 nations participating in the biggest sports event in the world. Twenty-two athletes represented the country in the different events.
Philippines finished the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, France with four (4) medals — two (2) gold medals bagged by Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo and two (2) bronze medals won by Pinay boxers Neshty Petecio and Aira Villegas.
A grand homecoming dinner with President Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and their sons Joseph Simon and William Vincent were prepared in Malacañang for the athletes. The office of Pres. Marcos also pleged to give Php 1 million to each of the Filipino athletes who represented the country in the 2024 Olympics.
In the case of Carlos Yulo who is the first Olympic double gold medalist in the country, multi-million cash rewards were given to him. Not only the Philippine government but as well as several private entities wanted to show their appreciation to Caloy.
Real-estate firm Megaworld gifted Carlos Yulo with a three-bedroom condo unit in McKinley Hills in Taguig. Vikings Restaurant also gave him a free access to their offers.
Popular car-maker Toyota also pledged to give Carlos Yulo his own Land Cruiser Prado. Not only the Olympic double gold medalist received gifts but as well as his parents.
Recently, Carlos Yulo’s mother, Angelica Yulo, took to social media her gratitude for the Nike shoes given by MJ Quiambao Reyes. In a post on her social media account, she thanked MJ and her friends for their kind heart.
Through a comment on the post, MJ Quiambao Reyes told Carlos Yulo’s mother that it is not a big deal and there is no need for her to give her credit or post about. She gave the credit to Street Swag Manila and a certain man named “Jerry” for the tokens given to all the parents of the Olympic medalists.
