CARLOS YULO’S MOTHER – Angelica Yulo spoke on her controversial Facebook post about a Japanese gymnast which was given another meaning by some netizens.

Undeniably, the personal issues between Carlos Yulo and his mom, Angelica Yulo, shared the public attention on his double gold win in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Both parties have confirmed that there was money issues between them that caused a rift.

Aside from the money issues, Caloy also claimed that his mother is against his relationship with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. According to the Paris Olympics double gold medalist, the amount of money that his mother allegedly spent is not an issue to him as his point is that the money was used without his consent.

Caloy also defended his girlfriend. He stressed that Chloe has her own source of money and she is using her own money in her trips. Amid the issues going viral on social media platforms, Carlos Yulo said that he has already forgiven his mother.

On Wednesday, Angelica Yulo held a press conference over her issues with her son in the pursuit of putting it to rest. She called out to the public saying she wants the issues to be fixed within their family. She apologized to her son and expressed that their family’s house is open, whether he has money or not, if he wants to talk to them when he returns to the Philippines.

During the press conference, Carlos Yulo’s mother also clarified her controversial Facebook post about Japanese gymnast Shinnosuke Oka. She expressed her amazement about the Japan bet in gymnastics.

However, there were speculations that it was to throw shade against Carlos amid their rift. During the press con, Angelica explained that Oka and her other son, Mark Eldrew, were companions in a training camp in Japan. She stressed that she’s happy that Oka was only 19 years old then but performed well.

During the live interview, Carlos Yulo’s mother clarified that she had no intention to degrade her son by posting about Japan’s bet in a gymnastics event. According to her, she just wants her children to know that the Japanese gymnast can be their motivation as well as to boost their confidence.

Angelica Yulo confirmed that she’s blocked Carlos on Messenger. According to her, she did it for her peace of mind. She also unfriended her son but denied blocking him on Facebook.
