Mark Andrew Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s Father, Reacts To Touching Statement of Nesthy Petecio
CARLOS YULO’S FATHER – Mark Andrew Yulo reacted to Olympic bronze medalist Nesthy Petecio dedicating her earnings for her family.
The Philippines finished its 2024 Olympics journey as the best-performing country from the Southeast Asia. It won two (2) gold medals and two (2) bronze medals making it on the 37th rank among over 200 participating nations. A grand heroes’ welcome was prepared for the homecoming of the athletes.
The gold medals that PH won in the 2024 Olympics were won by Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo. He scored 15 points in men’s floor exercise which got him his first Olympic gold medal. Shortly after, it was unexpectedly followed by another gold medal win in men’s vault event.
Filipina boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas won bronze medals for the Philippines. This year marks the country’s best-performance in the Olympics.
The Philippine government and several private entities extended rewards, incentives, and gifts for the Olympic medalists most especially Carlos Yulo. He is the first Olympic double gold medalist in the Philippines.
Carlos Yulo’s incentives and rewards has surpassed the P100 million mark now and gifts for him keep on coming. He has at least two (2) brand new vehicles which are both among the most popular car units of the providers.
Toyota gave Carlos his own brand new Land Cruiser Prado. Chery Auto also gave Carlos a Tiggo 7 Pro SUV and several privileges for the maintenance of his brand new car. The Olympic double gold medalist also got a three-bedroom condominium unit in McKinley Hills in Taguig from Megaworld.
However, the double victory of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Paris Olympics did not only expose his skills in gymnastics but as well as his family situation. It is now known to the public that money issues and her mother’s disapproval of his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, have caused a rift between the mother and son.
On his father, Caloy has always been vocal about his gratitude. However, it is still unclear if he has already met with his family amid his busy public engagements since his return to the country. Carlos Yulo’s father even joined the crowd during the parade of the athletes to see his son.
Recently, Carlos Yulo’s father hooked the attention of some netizens after he expressed appreciation on Nesthy Petecio for her statement about her family. Based on a post on the social media account of Abs Quimma, the Pinay boxer said that she dedicates her earnings for her family. She stressed that she does not want to see her family struggling.
Nesthy also emphasized that she wants to help her siblings, nephews, nieces, and mother in a comfortable situation. According to her, she often forgets her self in the pursuit of her dreams for her family. To this, Carlos Yulo’s father could not resist his apprecation of her line and called her “idol”.
