CARLOS YULO INCENTIVES – The rewards that the Olympics Double Gold Medalist received from the PH government and private entities is over P100 million now.
The double gold win of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Paris Olympics brought a lot of honor and pride to the Filipinos and the country. It is the first time for a Filipino athlete to hit not just one but two (2) gold medals in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Carlos Yulo won his first Olympic gold medal in men’s floor exercise. Shortly after, it was followed by another Olympic gold win in the vault event. His double gold win in the Olympics, along with the bronze medal wins of Pinay boxers Neshty Petecio and Aira Villegas, have led the Philippines to finish its 2024 Olympics journey in the 37th spot.
The Philippines is the best-performing Southeast Asian country in the 2024 Olympics held in Paris, France. The Philippine authorities prepared a grand homecoming for the Filipino athletes. They had a dinner with President Bongbong Marcos, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and their sons, Joseph Simon and William Vincent, in Malacañang upon their arrival.
The Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ office gave the Filipino athletes in the 2024 Paris Olympics P1 million each. As for Carlos Yulo incentives and rewards for his Olympics double gold win, it has now surpassed P100 million. Here are some of the rewards and incentives extended to the Olympics Double Gold Medalist:
- ₱20 million from the Philippine Sports Commission as mandated by the National Athletes and Coaches Benefits and Incentives Act
- ₱20 million from the Office of the President
- ₱14 million from the House of Representatives
- ₱2 million from the City of Manila
- ₱3 million from the Senate
- ₱5 million from ArenaPlus
- ₱10 million from sports patron Manny V. Pangilinan
- ₱3 million from Bounty Fresh
- ₱3 million from Megaworld
- ₱32 million condo from Megaworld
- ₱1 million worth of products from SM Retail
- ₱4.8 million Toyota Land Cruiser Prado from Toyota Motors Philippines
- ₱6 million Batangas house and lot from Century Properties
Aside from the aforementioned Carlos Yulo incentives and rewards, Chery Auto also gave Carlos Yulo a brand new Tiggo 7 Pro SUV along with several other privileges like a lifetime free oil change service.
According to the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), the rewards and wins for Carlos Yulo from the Olympic wins are free from tax deductions.
