Office of Pres. Bongbong Marcos To Reward Filipino Athletes in 2024 Olympics in Paris
BONGBONG MARCOS – The Office of the President is set to give Php 1 million to each Pinoy athlete who represented the country in Paris Olympics.
The Philippines performed really well in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Twenty-two Filipino athletes went to Paris, France to represent the country in the biggest sports event in the world.
PH finished the 2024 Paris Olympics not only bearing its best performance in the Olympics but as well as the best-performing Southeast Asian country in this year’s Olympics. The Filipino athletes brought home four (4) medals from the Olympics.
Filipino Gymnast Carlos Yulo had a back-to-back win the 2024 Paris Olympics. He got his first Olympic gold in men’s floor exercise and it was followed by another Olympic gold medal in men’s vault exercise. He is the first Filipino athlete and the first athlete from Southeast Asia to be an Olympic double gold medalist.
In boxing, Filipino boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas also won bronze medals for the Philippines. The Filipino people rejoiced and are very proud of the success of the Olympians.
Carlos celebrate not only his victory but as well as hardwork and performance of all the Pinoy athletes who represented the country in the biggest sports event. Following his double gold win in the 2024 Paris Olympics, the Philippine government and several private entities pledged rewards for Caloy to show their appreciation for the pride and honor that he has brought the country.
Carlos is set to receive at least Php 33 million cash reward and several properties including a condominiun unit from Megaworld, a house and lot in Tagaytay, and many more. Based on a report on GMA News, all the Filipino athletes in the 2024 Paris Olympics are set to receive rewards.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ office is set to give Php 1 million each to all the Filipino athletes who represented the country in the 2024 Paris Olympics. They have arrived in the country and a warm Hero’s Welcome was set for the athletes. They also met with Pres. Marcos in Malacañang.
Based on the report, aside from the Php 1 million for each Filipino athlete in the Paris Olympics from the office of Pres. Bongbong Marcos, each of the Pinoy pride are also set to receive another Php 1 million each from PAGCOR or the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation. It brings the total of Php 2 million each for every Pinoy athlete in the Paris Olympics.
